Presidents of Mongolia and Laos plant trees in national park

President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, First Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj, President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, and First Lady Naly Sisoulith planted trees at the Mongol Culture Park of Gorkhi-Terelj national park at the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar on June 12. Recognizing the vulnerability of their landlocked countries to climate change, the Presidents of Mongolia and Laos emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing global challenges such as desertification and environmental degradation. The two heads of state reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to these areas. During the visit to the national park, President Thongloun Sisoulith and First Lady Naly Sisoulith got acquainted with the nomadic lifestyle and customs, a mini Naadam Festival along with mounted archery and folk-art performances.
