President Khurelsukh Receives Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Head of the Russian Section of the Russian-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission Viktoria Abramchenko.
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Head of the Russian Section of the Russian-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission Viktoria Abramchenko on October 24. At the outset of the meeting, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa expressed his satisfaction with the successful organization of the 25th Meeting of the Russian-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation. He noted that, a few days earlier, he had held a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing, and that they had exchanged views on the current state of relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as on various issues such as energy and transport. President Khurelsukh emphasized that Mongolia and the Russian Federation have ample opportunities to deepen economic cooperation and increase investment, and he expressed his readiness to advance bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Chairman Viktoria Abramchenko highlighted the opportunities to intensify cooperation in energy, infrastructure, industry, and transportation. She also expressed her readiness to cooperate in education and the environment, specifically the "One Billion Trees" National Campaign initiated by the President of Mongolia. At the end of the meeting, the two sides expressed eagerness to cooperate in developing Mongolia-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership relations and promoting cooperation projects that have been discussed for many years.
