Asia-Pacific Teacher Exchange for Global Education or APTE is a bilateral teacher exchange program between the Republic of Korea and Asia-Pacific partner countries.

Asia-Pacific Teacher Exchange for Global Education or APTE is a bilateral teacher exchange program between the Republic of Korea and Asia-Pacific partner countries, hosted by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea and implemented by the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education. This year, six teachers from Mongolia and four teachers from South Korea are taking part in APTE. During the Program, the teachers are dispatched to local schools in the partner country for three to four months, giving classes and participating in various educational activities. The Program is held under the auspices of UNESCO in cooperation with the Ministries of Education of the Participating Countries as local partners. Initiated in 2012 with two partners, Mongolia and the Philippines, this Program has expanded in the past decade, being implemented in seven Asia Pacific countries, namely Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
