Mongolia mainly exported from China, Switzerland and South Korea
Mongolia’s foreign trade turnover increased by 57 percent year on year to 5.7 billion USD in the first quarter of 2023.
Mongolia’s foreign trade turnover increased by 57 percent year on year to 5.7 billion USD in the first quarter of 2023, Mongolian Customs General Administration reported. Mongolia registered a foreign trade surplus of about 1.8 billion dollars in the first quarter, mainly due to a significant increase in the exports of mining products. China, Switzerland and South Korea were the top three export destinations for Mongolia during the first quarter, accounting for around 98 percent of its total exports.
