Mongolians from Russia and China awarded by `World Mongol` scholarship
Young people from Kalmykia, Tuva, Buryatia, Altai and Southern Mongolia received the “World Mongol” scholarship.
Young people from Kalmykia, Tuva, Buryatia, Altai, and Southern Mongolia received the “World Mongol” scholarship from Elbegdorj Institute. Specifically, Elbegdorj Institute is an independent, non-profit center that aims to strengthen and protect democratic values in Mongolia. The Institute was founded in 2008 by the former President of Mongolia Elbegdorj. Additionally, the institute’s official website writes that we strive to build a strong and vibrant democracy by supporting the development of democratic institutions, practices, and citizen participation. To achieve our mission, we initiate projects aimed at public policy research, training, and capacity building of civil society organizations, as well as advocacy efforts.
