Mongolian girl becomes First World Junior Swimming Champion

At the end of last month, “The winter swimming World Championship-2023” was held in Bled, Slovenia. Young girl Tsenguun, ten years old, won the first prize in the 50 meters “Head Up Breaststroke” category. She is the first world junior swimming champion of Mongolia. Moreover, her grandfather, a swimming coach, participated in this championship and won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. He is a well-experienced athlete who won 32 gold, 29 silver, and 14 bronze medals in winter swimming contests overall. Additionally, lake Bled has a long tradition of organizing high-level impressive events, including the Winter Swimming World Championships in 2010. Lake Bled is a first-class rowing venue and this year’s host of the European Masters Championships in the open water swimming.
