The standing committee on Environment, Food and Agriculture is currently working on five sets of bills on the Law of Land to submit to the plenary session of the State Great Khural or the parliament. The current Law of Land was adopted in 2002. Since then, it has been amended 32 times and has not been renewed for 20 years. Renewing the entire law will not only be resulted in quick and effective dispute resolution, but also enable integrated planning to ensure cross-sectoral collaborations, allocate land to the target group of citizens to build houses, and fences in the first place, and allow individuals and legal entities to commercialize their land through open e-markets, and transfer and use the land in their possession for trade and service.
