Mongolian film wins Audience Award at 38th Warsaw Film Festival
Mongolian fiction drama film “Trio”, directed by Mr. Battumur, competed with 5000 films from 100 countries and won the Audience Award at the 38th Warsaw Film Festival.
Mongolian fiction drama film “Trio”, directed by Mr. Battumur, competed with 5000 films from 100 countries and won the Audience Award at the 38th Warsaw Film Festival. Winning an award from an international elite group of film events after 46 years became an important milestone for the Mongolian film industry. The film Trio will premiere in Mongolian cinemas on February 24. Previously, “The People’s Messenger” film won Best Female Actress at the 1st Moscow International Film Festival in 1959. Likewise, “The Legend of Motherland” a feature film was awarded the Grand Prix-Crystal Globe of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 1976.
