Mongolia and China to enhance cooperation

Mongolian Foreign Minister Batmunkh Battsetseg held talks with Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing and vowed to enhance cooperation between the two countries in areas including economy, trade and infrastructure. Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg expressed willingness to coordinate with China on international stage, promote key projects on construction and connectivity and push the relationship between the two countries to a new level. Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said China and Mongolia are good neighbors and partners, and the China-Mongolia relationship has maintained strong growth momentum in recent years, which is in the interests of both countries and has provided stability to the volatile world. He said China will take this visit as an opportunity to implement the important consensuses reached by the two leaders, further strengthen the exchanges in governance, collaborate in achieving development, rejuvenation and modernization, and progress toward a community with a shared destiny for China and Mongolia.
