The national movement `Food Supply and Security’ launched on the 16th of November or today at the Cultural Center in Ulaanbaatar.

The national movement `Food Supply and Security’ launched on the 16<sup>th</sup> of November or today at the Cultural Center in Ulaanbaatar. On the initiative of the President, the `Food Supply and Security` national movement is being implemented all over the country within the framework of necessity of fully domestic demands with 19 types of widely used food products and developing animal husbandry and intensive agriculture. During the launching the ceremony, an exhibition is being organized to give information on the national movement's mission, expected results, and implementation activities, as well as to promote the products of 10 enterprises that produce widely used foods. More than a thousand people including the President of Mongolia, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Light Industry, the Chairman of the Citizens’ Representative Khural of Ulaanbaatar, Governors of the capital, districts, sub-districts, NGOs, representatives of citizens, enterprises, and organizations attended the event. Furthermore, the movement is being partially launched in 21 provinces for intensifying the movement and improving the participation of citizens.
