Mongolia-Australia business council established
The Mongolia-Australia business council was established at the beginning of this month, to support the activities of Australian enterprises interested in running a business in Mongolia.
The Mongolia-Australia business council was established at the beginning of this month, to support the activities of Australian enterprises interested in running a business in Mongolia, to put companies in a unified organization, and to work together to improve the investment environment in Mongolia. The Embassy of Mongolia in Australia organized the first meeting of the council in cooperation with Rio Tinto. In this meeting, the Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry of Mongolia participated as an honored guest and introduced the policies and activities of the Government of Mongolia in the fields of mining and mineral resources. Additionally, the meeting of the Mongolia-Australia business council was attended by about 30 representatives of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or DFAT, the Trade and Investment Agency, and businesses.
