Ambassador Mr. Bold met with Minister of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs and Minister of Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Mr. Fayot.

Ambassador Mr. Bold met with Minister of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs and Minister of Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Mr. Fayot. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the actions to be taken as a follow-up to the visit of Minister Fayot to Mongolia in July 2022. At the time of his visit, Minister Fayot signed the documents for a total of EUR 10.0 million granted by the Government of Luxembourg to the health sector of Mongolia. In addition to the previous grant, he also confirmed that another grant of EUR 5.0 million is planned to be allocated to Mongolia to protect maternal and child health, and informed that the financing document is in the process of approval. The parties reiterated the importance of expanding trilateral cooperation between Mongolia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the field of health and seeking for opportunities of cooperation in the field of logistics and cargo services, all of which were made during the above-mentioned visit.
