Mongolia, Kazakhstan hold inter-ministerial consultative meeting
A consultative meeting was held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Nur-Sultan on May 31.
A consultative meeting was held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Nur-Sultan on May 31. During the consultative meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Mr.Munkhjin and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mr. Vassilenko exchanged views on the current political, social, and economic situation in the respective countries, ways to intensify relations and cooperation, as well as international and regional issues of mutual interest. The meeting also touched on the possibility of diversifying Mongolia's foreign trade market, food security, including the supply of key products that may be in short supply on the world market, and regional transport and logistics cooperation aimed at supporting the post-pandemic economic recovery. Moreover, the sides discussed ways to intensify cooperation and develop mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation with countries in the region.
