Internet users increases in a decade

In Mongolia, 72 percent of the population aged 15 and over use the Internet. According to the population and housing census conducted by the National Statistics Office of Mongolia in 2020, the number of internet users increased by 38.4 percentage compared with a decade ago. Over 85 percent of single people use the Internet. The rate shows 35.8 percentage increase since the census of 2010. Of the total number of internet users, people aged 20-24 accounted for 91.3 percent or the highest rate, while the lowest were children aged 6-9—20.4 percent and people aged 70 and more –18.4 percent.
