122 new cases of COVID-19 detected
The daily COVID-19 press briefing by the Ministry of Health for March 15 reported that in the past 24 hours 9410 people were tested at the laboratories nationwide and 122 new cases were confirmed.
In specific, 118 cases have been detected in Ulaanbaatar, two cases --in Shiluustei soum of Zavkhan province, one --in Zuun Mod soum of Tuv province, as well as the rest – one, was a passenger who arrived on a charter flight from Nur-Sultan.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Mongolia now has reached 4,083, of which 3551 are locally acquired infections. Out of the country’s total confirmed cases, 3203 have been registered in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar.
Today, the total recoveries have reached 3031 and 973 patients are receiving treatment at the National Center for Communicable Diseases, Central Military Hospital, Second Clinic for Maternal and Child Health, and hospitals in Zavkhan and Tuv province.
