A bill on exemption from customs tax has been adopted at the meeting of the session of the Parliament convened on December 4.

In aims of ensuring stability of food supply in unpredictable situation of the coronavirus pandemic, the law exempts all types of rice, vegetable oil, food wheat, wheat seed, oily plant, raw vegetable oil as well as hay, all types of fodder and fodder seed, which will be required to overcome wintering and spring of 2020-2021 without any barrier, from customs import duties. 45 of 53 members who attended the meeting or 84.9 percent of Parliament members backed to approve the bill on exemption from customs tax.
