Online system for land management and urban planning opens
The Government of Mongolia, and the Ministry of Construction and Urban Planning jointly introduced a unified information system on land management and urban planning.
The Government of Mongolia, and the Ministry of Construction and Urban Planning jointly introduced a unified information system on land management and urban planning. It enables citizens to receive information on land organization plan and send their suggestions online. The information system provides the opportunity to make activities related to the development of land management plans, its implementation and monitoring more open to the public based on their participation.“With the introduction of the online system, any action that violates the interest of citizens due to land-related disputes will be ended as well as eliminating duplicate planning, reducing unproductive expenses making an investment in a land not risky but more assured,” said Gankhuu, Head of the Administration of Land Affairs, Geodesy and Cartography. Furthermore, government organizations of all social and economic spheres such as agriculture, environment, urban planning, industry, and road transport and defense will be able to jointly formulate interrelated, unified plan with no spatial overlaps using the online system.
