State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Davaasuren made remarks at the swearing-in ceremony of the new Peace Corps volunteers in Mongolia. In his address, Mr. Davaasuren emphasized the important roles of the Peace Corps to Mongolia’s social development, in particular in health and educational sectors, since the beginnings of its operation in Mongolia about 30 years ago. Commending that enthusiasm and effective work of volunteers are making a big contribution to bilateral relations between Mongolia and the U.S. Mr. Davaasuren congratulated the new volunteers and wished them success in their endeavors. Present at the ceremony were the U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia M.Klecheski, Peace Corps Mongolia Country Director Kim Mansaray, volunteers and guests.
