A total of 400 Mongolian companies will participate in the third China-Mongolia expo to be held in September in Hohhot, the capital of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This year's expo will be organized under core programs of the exhibition, namely covering cultural exchanges, conferences and investments, the official said."Mongolian wool and cashmere products and organic meat and processed meat products are most in-demand among Chinese consumers. In addition, Chinese consumers, especially citizens of Inner Mongolia, are very interested in traditional Mongolian clothes," said the head of the department of small and medium-sized enterprises at the Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry. More than 380 Mongolian businesses participated in the second China-Mongolia expo held in Hohhot in 2017, exhibiting products in around 400 categories, according to data from the department of foreign trade and economic cooperation of the Mongolian Foreign Ministry. Mongolia and China have set a goal of 10-billion-U.S.-dollar target for bilateral trade by 2020 and the expo is expected to play a major role in achieving the target.
