International meeting for statistics to take place in Mongolia

The 14th meeting of High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-building for statistics for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will be held in Mongolia.

The 14^th meeting of High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-building for statistics for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will be held in Mongolia. The high-level group comprises of heads of statistics offices and its departments of 24 countries representing 13 regions. More than 30 guests and representatives from the high-level group, international and donor organizations will attend the meeting. Moreover, statisticians and heads of statistics offices of over 20 countries will gather. At the High-level Group's Meeting, the attendees will discuss about membership of the high-level group and their role and engagement and the issues related to database monitoring for the third United Nation World Data Forum which will be held in Switzerland in 2002 and making financing for statistics and statistical resources of the UN system more effective.
