Mongolian side is willing to work with the Chinese side to well map out the future direction and objectives of bilateral relations.

Mongolian president Battulga Khaltmaa expressed that it is Mongolia's firm and prior diplomatic policy to develop the long-term, good-neighborly, friendly, mutually-beneficial and cooperative partnership with China during the meeting held between the two heads of the countries. Mongolia firmly adheres to the one-China policy and agrees that both Taiwan and Xi Zang are inseparable parts of China, and the matters involving Taiwan and Xi Zang are China's internal affairs. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Mongolia-China diplomatic relations, the Mongolian side is willing to work with the Chinese side to well map out the future direction and objectives of bilateral relations. Mongolia will promote the alignment of its Development Road Initiative and the BRI, enhance bilateral cooperation in such areas as trade, electricity, agriculture, animal husbandry, infrastructure construction, and civil aviation, and jointly advance the construction of the Mongolia-China-Russia Economic Corridor with the Chinese side. The Mongolian side appreciates the Chinese side's important role in maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and is willing to strengthen coordination with the Chinese side in regional affairs. In return, Xi Jinping stressed that the two sides should strengthen political guidance and strategic communication, maintain exchanges at a high level and in all fields, and respect each other's core interests and major concerns. The two sides should actively promote the alignment of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Mongolia's Development Road Initiative, achieve more tangible progress in building the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, strive to optimize trade structure, and deeply tap into the potential for cooperation. Both sides should strengthen exchanges in border areas and ports, build a border of common development and prosperity, and provide more convenience for bilateral trade and personnel exchanges. The two sides should organize people-to-people and cultural events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia this year. Both sides should also enhance communication and coordination in international and regional affairs to jointly safeguard regional peace and stability as well as the interests of developing countries. After the talks, the two heads of state also jointly witnessed the signing of bilateral cooperation documents including a cooperation plan to align the Belt and Road Initiative with the Development Road Initiative.
