The National Forum on Technical and Vocational Education and Training Reform organized in UB to promote interactions on technical and vocational education and training in Mongolia. In the forum’s opening remarks, United Nations resident coordinator in Mongolia Beate Trankmann said, “the technical and vocational education and training reform must ensure equal access to learning opportunities and skills development to all, reaching first and foremost the further behind. It should balance social, economic, and environmental goals in public and private policies.” Transforming the technical and vocational education and training system can help create new jobs, and also change the scope and character of existing jobs in Mongolia.
