Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Cup organized in Ulaanbaatar
The Mongolian team received 2 silver medals as a team at the two ropes and three balls routine as well as the silver medal for the ‘Solo team’ award, which is the featured award of the tournament.
The First Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Cup was successfully organized by the Mongolian Gymnastics Federation (MGF) with the support of the Mongolian Government and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Sports (MECSS) in Ulaanbaatar selecting its victors. It was attended by over 100 gymnasts, judges, coaches and officials from 11 countries, such as India, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and Thailand. The Mongolian team received 2 silver medals as a team at the two ropes and three balls routine as well as the silver medal for the ‘Solo team’ award, which is the featured award of the tournament. The tournament was the first to be organized on the continental level, ever since gymnastics was first developed in Mongolia in 1971. President of the Asian Gymnastic Union’s Technical Committee Gyozal Filippova worked as the Chief Judge.
