Mongolia and Russia expands cooperation in defense

A Long Term Program on Development of Military Cooperation was signed between the Defense Ministries of Mongolia and the Russian Federation during an official visit of Russian Defense Minister S. Shoigu to Mongolia. The program defines further directions of cooperation development in defense, management in the armed forces, military education, and research, medical and humanitarian relations. The two Defense Ministers Mr. Enkhbold and Mr. S.Shoigu also held talks on defense sector relations, military cooperation and further directions. Furthermore, the Defense Ministers attended the military equipment handover ceremony, provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense to the Mongolian Armed Forces.
