Mongolian team becomes world champion in horseback archery
Mongolian team of four competed with the athletes of various countries including the UK, the US, Russia, China, Korea, Kazakhstan, and Germany.
Mongolian team claimed the Grand Prix at the 14th World Horseback Archery Championships held in Sokcho, Korea. Mongolian team of four competed with the athletes of various countries including the UK, the US, Russia, China, Korea, Kazakhstan, and Germany. Despite the heavy wind and slippery tracks due to the hurricane, which hit Korea during the competition, our athletes successfully won 1 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medals. In addition to winning gold and silver in solo shooting and a silver in team shooting, member of the national team E.Erdene brought the Grand Prix to the team. P.Purev-Ochir won bronze in solo and team shootings, and O.Tumenbayar won silver in team shooting.
