Third Mongolia-Japan medical forum takes place
The event aims at creating the best healthcare services in Mongolia, improving national professionals’ knowledge and introducing innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment.
At an initiative of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, the 3rd Mongolia-Japan joint forum was organized in Ulaanbaatar city. The event aims at creating the best healthcare services in Mongolia, improving national professionals’ knowledge and introducing innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment. During the forum, participants of the event exchanged views on the opening of the Mongolia-Japan training hospital, ensuring its further sustainable operation, training and empowering health professionals, as well as implementing joint academic projects. The forum involved over 30 representatives of Japan, consisting of professors and executives from Japan's prestigious universities and hospitals, such as Aichi Gakuin University, Dokkyo Medical University, Nagoya University, Tohoku University, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, and Aichi Cancer Center as well as business organizations. Representatives from the Otolaryngology Department of Health Sciences University of Hokkaido and Tohoku University took part in the event for the first time. A scope of the forum has been expanding year by year. The Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences has established a cooperation network with over 80 medical schools and hospitals of Japan. Moreover, 20 professionals from Mongolia attend training in Japanese universities every year under the support of the Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society of Japan.
