National renewable energy forum to be held for ninth year
The forum is planned to touch upon topics such as establishing independent grid in a remote area, current renewable energy situation on the grid and opportunities for reducing air pollution.
An annual ‘National Renewable Energy Forum’ will be organized for the ninth year by the Ministry of Energy, the Mongolian Renewables Industries Association and the Mongolian Wind Energy Association in cooperation with the Global Green Growth Institute and the Global Wind Energy Council. This year’s forum is planned to touch upon topics such as establishing independent grid in a remote area, current renewable energy situation on the grid, opportunities for reducing air pollution using renewable energy in the city. Especially, presentations themed ‘Solutions and Opportunities to Use Renewable Energy in Mining’, ‘Financing Opportunities Renewable Energy Projects in Mongolia, and ‘Experience on Geothermal Usage for Small and Medium Users’. Open discussions will be held following the presentations. It is expected that the forum will bring together over 600 delegates.
