Six year-old Mongolian girl Yalguun has become a champion in the 'rapid' category and won bronze medal in 'blitz' category in the 2018 Asian Youth Rapid and Blitz Championship. The competition was organized in Thailand. This year, about 600 young chess players from 26 countries challenged their minds in the Championships. Previously, Yalguun brought a gold medal to Khovd Province from the 2018 National Youth Chess Championship for the first time in 17 years.
