Mongolian-Russian transport sector cooperation strengthens. Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev approved an intergovernmental Agreement between Mongolia and Russia on Terms for Railway Transit Transportation. The fundamental purpose of the agreement is to provide favorable condition to the parties to export goods to the third countries through railway transport. Consequently, Mongolian exporters will have an opportunity to export their products overseas through Russia. Furthermore, the agreement reflects to make price policy on rail transit transport of the two countries, facilitate border and customs control, improve railroad infrastructure quality and increase freight flow constantly.
