Laser laboratory opens in National University of Mongolia
The research laboratory has been built with support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports in the framework of the Higher Education Reform project funded by the ADB.
The National University of Mongolia inaugurated a new modern ‘Laser laboratory’. The research laboratory has been built with support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports in the framework of the Higher Education Reform project funded by the Asian Development Bank. The laboratory enables Mongolian researchers to conduct high-level researches in Mongolia. The laboratory is equipped with 66 types of laser sources such as three short pulse laser system with high performance, laser machines and FTIR spectroscopy. Objects made from laser machine and its operation were introduced during the opening ceremony. The laboratory is significant to extract short impulse laser, conduct high-level researches as well as to create new knowledge and wide usage in photonic, material studies, biology, renewable energy and medical science, and technology sectors.
