Russian rock band Lyube performed in Ulaanbaatar

Lyube, Russian rock band from Lubertsy, a suburb of Moscow put on a two-day concert in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia this week. The band founded in 1989 have released 16 albums. Lyube's music is a mixture of several genres, with influences from both Russian folk music, rock, Russian chanson, and Soviet military songs. Due to the Mongolia and Russia historic communist ties, the two country still share a similar cultural bond. Accordingly, the concert was initiated at the request from the numerous fans of the band in Mongolia and Mongolia became the first country from Asia for Lyube to perform.
