EU investment encouraged
Parliament member and Director of the Mongolia-Europe Parliamentary Group N. Oyundari received an attaché from European Union Delegation
Parliament member and Director of the Mongolia-Europe Parliamentary Group N. Oyundari received an attaché from Marko Ferri, Charge d’affaires of the European Union Delegation to Mongolia. She asked Ferri to consider supporting investment from EU nations and to help introduce European emission standards in Mongolia. Mr Ferri agreed to cooperate on the matters presented. Mongolia is prioritizing the expansion of its relations with European Union nations, some of the largest investors in Mongolia. The number of export products to the EU is limited. As a result, there is a difficulty in getting enough access to customs tax waiver opportunities granted by the EU according to MP N. Oyundari.
