Mongolia and Hungary to expand cooperation in biocombinat
Foreign Minister pointed out Government of Mongolia is paying attention on project on expanding ‘Biocombinat’ state-owned enterprise to be implemented with soft-loan.
Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar said he will do all his best to strengthen friendly relations with Hungary and to enrich the ties with economic contents, when he met Mihaly Galosfai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Mongolia. The Foreign Minister pointed out the Government of Mongolia is paying attention on a project on expanding the ‘Biocombinat’ state-owned enterprise to be implemented with a soft-loan from the Hungarian Government. He underlined this project would contribute to bilateral economic and agricultural ties and attracting investments to these sectors. D.Tsogtbaatar said Mongolia has potential to collaborate with Hungary in food processing and to supply its value-added products to neighboring countries and Japan under the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). He added Mongolia will support any initiatives and proposals on it. The Hungarian Ambassador noted that his country is boosting relations and cooperation with Mongolia in all spheres and collaborating with Mongolian authorities in launching an expansion of the Biocombinat in near future. In regard of the Biocombinat’s expansion, representatives of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and veterinary specialists will visit Mongolia in November 20-22.
