Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and Deutsche Welle to extend its cooperation with Mongolia

Acting Prime Minister J.Erdenebat received Javad Mottaghi, Secretary-General of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, and Klaus Bergmann, Director of the Deutsche Welle’s External Relations Division.

The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and Deutsche Welle are to extend its cooperation with Mongolia. Acting Prime Minister J.Erdenebat received Javad Mottaghi, Secretary-General of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union /ABU/, and Klaus Bergmann, Director of the Deutsche Welle’s External Relations Division. They are in Mongolia to participate in the celebration of the 5oth anniversary of Mongolian National Public Television and attend an international forum themed ‘Public Television Development Trends’. Mr Acting Prime Minister expressed appreciation to the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union for contributions to the development of Mongolian National Television and for partnership in broadcasting some major competitions international, such as world championships, summer and winter Olympics. The ABU and Deutsche Welle representatives noted that they will further collaborate with Mongolia in broadcasting World and Asian Championships, in part the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
