Mongolians collect gold medals in world police and fire games. Mongolian athletes have grabbed medals including gold in the 2017 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) continuing in Los Angeles, the USA. This year’s WPFG is being participated by some 10 thousand athletes from 96 countries competing in Olympic and non-Olympic 56 events. Our team that included some 30 athletes and officials is taking part in the Games for the fourth time. On the first day of the WPFG 2017, Sh.Bayanmunkh IMS won a silver medal in the men’s -130 kg master’s category of Greco-Roman wrestling while B.Tumurbaatar--a bronze medal in the men’s -80 kg division of the event. Following days, our judokas and jiu-jitsu wrestlers grabbed gold and silver medals in the both men’s and women’s divisions. E.Altan-Ochir IMS from the “Avragch” sports club claimed gold and bronze medals in the long and short distance races of the cycling.
