22 young officials to study in Japan under JDS program 2017. B.Choijilsuren, Minister of Finance and Masato Takaoka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia signed the intergovernmental exchange on “Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resources Development Scholarship (JDS). In the framework of the project, 22 Mongolian young officers will be granted with JDS scholarship to study in master and doctoral programs in Japan this year. Since the program was launched in Mongolia 2001, 280 Mongolian young officials have studied in Japan. Today, they are working effectively in the fields of public services, the central bank, government agencies and are the active role in solving practical problems related to social and economic development issues that their homeland are facing. The purpose of the JDS program is to support human resource development in countries that receive Japanese grant aid, targeting highly capable, young government officials and others who are expected to engage in formulating and implementing social and economic development plans and become leaders in their countries.
