2000-3000-year-old rock paintings unveiled. 2000-3000-year-old rock paintings have been revealed in eastern Mongolian province of Dornod. Three small and big rocks with paintings were dug out after some local residents informed the location of the findings. Preliminary presumption says that the findings belong to a period 2500-3000 years ago. Detailed studies will be carried out soon to define the precise date, said inspector of Professional Inspection Authority in charge of Eastern regional cultural issues. These kinds of rock paintings are rarely found in the territory of Dornod aimag.
