International competition of paragliding was took place in Malaysia.
Mongolian pilot Ariunbat Khadkhuu won bronze medal in an international competition of paragliding which took place Malaysia. It is the first team medal of Mongolian paragliders from an international tournament. Three Mongolian pilots competed in the competition among 74 pilots from 28 countries. Pilot Kh.Ariunbat started Paragliding in 2005 and is gold and silver medal winner in National Championships. Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. Despite not using an engine, paragliders flight can last many hours and cover many hundreds of kilometers, though flights of one to two hours and covering some tens of kilometers are more the norm.
