Yuan Dynasty's rich heritage displayed in Beijing. ‘Historical and cultural heritage of the Yuan Dynasty’ exhibition took place at the Embassy of Mongolia in Beijing on April 11. The exhibition displayed rare historical items, such as stone portraits of Chinghis Khan and Börte Khatan, portrait of Kublai Khan, the first emperor of the Yuan Dynasty, as well as stamps and paper money of the Yuan Dynasty. The exhibition was part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of an agreement on economic and cultural cooperation, which is the first ever document between the governments of Mongolia and China. The exhibition is important as to promote the historical and cultural heritages and to strengthen the mutual understanding and trusts between the people of the two nations.
