Mongolia is represented at Venice Biennale. Mongolian artists are taking part in the Venice Biennale for the second time, after first taking part in 2015. Mongolian pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia 2017 is organized by the Mongolian Contemporary Art Support Association including art works by five artistes. The Mongolian pavilion hosts “Lost in Heaven”, an exhibition about the frailty of human nature and its effect upon society and the environment. While the context of the exhibition is uniquely Mongolian, the curators believe its impact will be global and universal. Other works in the Mongolian pavilion include some video works, sculptural installations and a series of haunting sound installations that bring together sounds from nature and traditional and electronic music.
