Mongolia to join Asian Energy Super Ring
Mongolia is to join Asian Energy Super Ring.
Mongolia is to join Asian Energy Super Ring for economic growth. A project to connect the energy grids of Mongolia, Russia, Japan, China, and South Korea took center stage during the last session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. Facing a growing demand for energy, the Asia-Pacific countries are trying to diversify their energy resources, and Siberia and the Russian Far East, with their huge deposits of natural gas, oil and surplus electricity, could be put to very good use in a variety of joint energy projects. The Asian energy super ring project could be a key area of beneficial cooperation and would prescribe the unification of energy systems of Russia, Japan, South Korea, China and Mongolia.
