Some positive changes observed in coal export. The Natural Resource Authority has informed that coal exports increased by 30% in the first four months of this year reaching 5.56 million tons. The volume of coking coal exported has fallen by more than four percent and totaled more than three million tons as against the previous year. The volume of coking coal concentrate which commands a high price has doubled, and totals 530,000 tons. The reason is explained by the increased supply capacity of the “Energy Resource” company. The amount of exported standard coal was not changed. The National Bureau of Statistics of China has informed that the cost of coal imported from Mongolia currently stands at USD 32. This is the lowest price, since 2011 when the National Bureau of Statistics of China began to publish Mongolian coal prices.
