ASEM11 Senior Officials’ Meeting launches.

ASEM11 Senior Officials’ Meeting launches in Ulaanbaatar. The meeting is reviewing and elaborating contents of documents to be issued by the 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar, which is set to release the ASEM 20th anniversary document, the Ulaanbaatar Declaration and the Statement of Chair Country. The Senior Officials’ Meeting is one of the major events within the ASEM Summit for considering key issues concerning Asia and Europe to be reflected in the above papers. The meeting is being taken part by some 160 delegates of 51 countries and two international organizations. The ongoing Senior Officials’ Meeting is the second in the series of meetings to be held prior to the 11^th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar. The first meeting, the Parliamentary Partnership meeting was successfully held in Ulaanbaatar, past April.
