The grave of approximately 1,500 years old ancient human remains wrapped in felt was three meters deep, and the cool temperatures helped to preserve the remains. A local museum archeologist told: “The person was not from elite, and is believed to be a woman, because there was no bow in the tomb. It was the first complete Turkic burial found in Mongolia - and probably in Central Asia” told the local archeologist. The mummy's grave there were found a saddle, bridle, some household utensils, some national clothes and other things which would help form a deeper understanding of the native Turks in ancient Mongolia. The finds also show that the people were very skilled craftsmen and craft skills were well developed 1500 years ago.
