Mongolia’s cooperation with Japan intensifies in education. Mongolian Minister of Education Mr Gantumur, who is an alumni of two engineering institutions in Japan attaches particular significance to cooperation with Japan in technology and engineering sector. Presently, 2015 Noble Prize winner in physics Professor of the Nagoya University Hiroshi Amano is visiting Mongolia. He read lectures themed “Lighting the Earth by LEDs.” Professors of the National University of Mongolia and the University of Science and Technology work on joint research works at Nagoya University. Also, in 2015, 43 Mongolian professors and researchers were involved in bachelor and doctoral degree seeking courses at Japanese universities. 34 Japanese professors had been to Mongolia for exchange of experience.
