The Mongolian side expressed appreciation for France’s support of the “Billions of Trees” national movement and highlighted the importance of international collaboration in addressing environmental challenges. Both countries agreed that the upcoming UN desertification conference (COP17), which Mongolia will host in 2026, presents a key opportunity to boost cooperation. They also discussed participation in major international forums such as the ChangeNOW Forum in Paris and the UN Ocean Conference in Nice, reinforcing their mutual dedication to global environmental goals.
