With just days remaining until the Naadam festival, an estimated 12,000 people are expected to turn up for this year's celebrations.
With just days remaining until the Naadam festival, an estimated 12,000 people are expected to turn up for this year's celebrations. Held annually from July 11 to 13, Naadam is Mongolia's annual national festival, featuring traditional Mongolian sports such as wrestling, horse racing, and archery. This year’s ticket prices range from 23 to 44 USD , available for purchase online starting July 1. For those without tickets, large screens outside the Central Stadium will also broadcast the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the wrestling matches. Currently, preparations for the Naadam festival are 85 percent complete. Over 1,000 artists, including performers from Halimag, Tuva, autonomous regions of Russia and Inner Mongolia autonomous region of China, will be performing in the opening and closing ceremonies.
