The Arts Council of Mongolia is organizing the "Motion Mongolia" International Contemporary Dance Festival for the third time starting on June 15, 2024. The five-day festival aims at contributing to the development of contemporary dance in Mongolia and increasing international partnerships. This year, the festival includes a mobile art exchange program in collaboration with the Arts Council of the Republic of Korea, as well as programs to support the capacity building of choreographers and dancers, culminating in a showcase performance for the audience. Specifically, a mobile art-experience exchange program will be implemented in collaboration with the South Korean dance group "Muden" and Mongolian dancers. Additionally, lectures and training sessions will be conducted by choreographers from Australia, Hungary, and Germany at the "Ulaanbaatar" Theater and the Mongolian State Conservatory to support the development of choreographers and dancers. A joint showcase performance by the participating artists will be open to the public on June 20, 2024 at the "Ulaanbaatar" Theater. This year's festival will feature artists such as Hungarian choreographer Zoltan Fodor, German choreographer Fabian Conne, and Australian choreographer Nerida Matthaei, as well as Australian dancers Jade Braider and Nadia Milford.
