The conference was being held under the motto “We say YES to YOUTH in PARLIAMENT” from 23rd to 26th of February. At the meeting, the young leaders of 15 parties from 12 countries such as Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Russia, Turkey, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan delivered keynote speeches and openly shared the experience of their country. The main issue is that the low representation of young people taking up only two percent in decision-making roles, both globally and in specific countries like Mongolia, highlights a significant challenge in ensuring diverse perspectives and voices are included in the political landscape. Encouraging the participation and leadership of young individuals is crucial for fostering innovation, addressing contemporary issues, and creating a more inclusive political environment, notably addressed by representatives. In Mongolia, 60 percent of the population are young people under the age of 40, but their participation at the decision-making level is less than 10 percent. The young people of the Asia-Pacific countries are united in their opinion that supporting the participation and political leadership of young people and mobilizing their energy and spirit for unity and development is the desire and solution of every country.
