The Capital Governor and Ulaanbaatar City Mayor, along with relevant officials, received the representatives of Singapore’s “ST Engineering” company. On this occasion, they discussed cooperation in establishing a unified camera control center for Ulaanbaatar city cameras. “ST Engineering” company, which operates in the fields of aviation, smart cities, public safety, and defense, provides services to customers in more than 100 countries and has implemented smart city projects in more than 130 countries. The mayor stated, "In our country, cameras started in 2000, but currently, about 50 percent of the cameras in the capital do not meet operational requirements and are not coordinated with each other. Therefore, it is necessary to address the issues within the camera system within the framework of the laws and establish a unified Camera Control Center that connects all the cameras in the city. In doing so, public transport, taxi services, and private sector cameras will also be connected. It will be a pleasure to cooperate in this field." The founder and executive director of the Singapore Academy of Security, Intelligence, and Risk Studies, mentioned, "Since 2002, our organization has been collaborating with the city of Ulaanbaatar in crime prevention and staff empowerment. We are pleased to cooperate in establishing a unified camera control center in Ulaanbaatar city and updating the Rapid Control Center under the Traffic Police Department. We will promptly submit a range of suggestions and recommendations and collaborate closely in implementing them."
